Posted: 6/16/2012 1:30:43 PM THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Had a sounder of hogs get into a high fence area that was free of hogs. I've killed 14 so far including all the adults. I have about 15 young uns remaining that run around like a pack of rabid chiuauas. Yesterday morning I eased up to a feeder in hopes of an ambush. No pigs and the pellets that the deer drop were all cleaned up. Figured I missed them. I knelt down to the game camera with my gun across my back. Then I hear 60 little hooves pounding the ground as them blaze up to the feeder 30 feet behind me. It felt like an old western where the bad guys get the drop on the sheriff. They all got away....for now. I laughed all morning.

Posted: 6/21/2012 6:51:01 AM Sorry Kgraber, Its personal now. I took warhawks advice. No extension tube, just a pulled plug and #4Buck. Yesterday evening they were already at the feeder so the first volley was from 50 yards. Farther than I wanted with an IC choke. Had three belly up and squeeling as I shot and woundedanother. He made it to the cedar break on front legs only. Lost him and returned to the scene of the crime only to find one dead and one crawling away. He didn't make it. All in all not as many dead as I wanted, but good fun anyway. Maybe the buzzards will help me document the death toll today.
