South of Etna up in the mountains I used a 165 grn federal bonded bullet.

The .308 passed through the entire bear, the hydrostatic shock I observed through the lungs ended him very quickly and I nicked the bottom ventricle of the heart but he stopped breathing before he bleed out internally.
I used a165 grn bonded bullet and the bear was easily dispatched. |
