Tough hunt, not for amateurs. On the coast of the Bearing Sea... Brutal winds to 60 mph nights in the 20s. Maybe not necessary but I slept better with my 40 in my sleeping bag. 15 hour days, lots of climbing, looking for dens. That bear saw us and came towards us real slow and determined. First shot .338 250 grain Swift A Frame anchored it, I broke its shoulder, but I gave it two more for safety. Guide got it all on video. Beautiful bear, dark legs silver back, thick fur looks like it was left handed claws on left side blunted by digging up ground squirrels. Scope put a nice gash over my right eyebrow 338 Win Mag bit at both ends on this one..... Lol.

That's a great looking bear. Awesome color and coat. Well done. Are you going to mount? Rug? Glad you had a good hunt. You are right on the money about being serious hunting up here.

I've been wanting to go on a bear hunt for some time now... Awesome job there.

Also, the swirly face was pretty funny to me.
