That's how I've always done it.
It amazes me how easy they come apart after seeing/hearing them slam through branches etc when flying away. |

Thanks for the video. With any luck at all, I'll be testing that method in Sequoia NF and South Sierra Wilderness, this Sept.

Great video. The few I cleaned, I did with a knife like you would breast out a turkey. This looks much easier and cleaner.
