Michigan coyote season opened last Wednesday,  hunted Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.  Called in one Wednesday no shot,  had howls later, had a trespasse Thursday, Sunday morning we called in 4 and my partner missed on three.
Sunday evening i connected on this female.

I was not aware anyplace actually had a closed season on coyotes anymore.

1) we are in a predator hunting summer contest

 
2) when a farmer/rancher calls and says  I need these things gone. .you don't say ok I'll wait until December.

3) my best spots are saved for later  in the year

Indiana technically only allows coyote hunting Oct 15-Mar 15...but on your own property or with written permission, all dates are ok.
