Totally pitch black night, no moon or stars, overcast and drizzling.
Had bush-hogged down about two acres of dog fennels that were 8-10 feet high so I could see out 250 yards instead of 50 yards on my stand using the Flir M-324 Pan/Tilt thermal to monitor the area. A large sounder of hogs showed up and stayed for about 20 minutes but would never come into range, watched them out 350 yards on the thermal from the cockpit of my UTV waiting for them to head my way but it never happened, did not want to just try to blast them as there were six large hogs in the group and am trying to take them out. Turned on my FoxPro TruckPro E-caller on BayBeeCottontail and let it squeak for about ten minutes and picked up a hot heat signature cranking through the thick woods my way, thought it could be a deer so watched it close in on me. Made it up a hill out a ravine about 50 yards for Pos ID and put a 130 grain Barnes TSX through it's spine at 90 yards... Had the mini-DVR on recording but forgot to turn on the video output from the MKII again, coyote came in fast and missed getting a video of him, all I got was the audio of the gunshot...

Haha, I walk out the door to go check the game cams first thing this morning and lo and behold there is a coyote eating out the ass of my hog I killed the night before 190 yards out.
Head back into the house to get the SIG 716 7.62mm with IRD thermal and one shot puts him down!

Second coyote shows up at 240 yards tonight not far from where I shot one earlier this morning, .308 barked, DRT.

I was glassing some land off the side of a logging road and I turn to my right and see this sumbitch trotting up the road right to me. 150gr Interlock at 20ft did the trick.
The rope is because I was going to drag him back to the truck, but I used the sled instead to save the coat. |

It is a FLIR Marine Pan/Tilt thermal imager that can see out a mile or so moving or sitting still.

Tossed out some feral hog offal this morning after cleaning up the cape for Bass Pro Shops and then this coyote shows up for some pork chops tonight and gets nailed @ 200 yards by the HK 556 with Flir T-70 right after Thanksgiving Dinner!
Wicked one shot kill....

Here's what I'm talkin' about!
Wild hog sausage and ribs, venison tenderloin and ribs, peppers,squash,eggplant, onions and Mallard breasts wrapped in bacon, all washed down with two liters of homemade blackberry wine! 
Then, after nightfall, I use my FoxPro TruckPro to call in this mean looking rare jet black coyote and nail him with one shot @ 225 yards. Freakin' AWESOME!

Went out to the feeders to download some game cam pics this morning and heard some grunting in the brush behind me and managed to get a head shot on this nice little Snacker!
Then was headed over to another game cam and saw three coyotes chasing a hen turkey in a clear cut, managed to take out one of them with my KAC SBR running at 150 yards out!
