THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT But no, these humans have to come out waiving their arms and their various guns. Some shoot at me, all have missed so far. And some of them bury these steel spring traps in the ground. I guess they think I can't smell them? I dunno. Only took one near tragedy to teach me a hard lesson. It's all crazy. So I am going to change my game. Step one, just hunt at night. The humans are sleeping. This time of year the days are LONG, the nights are short. if the moon is full, everything is out eating, but they can see me coming. step two, always attack from down wind so I can smell the humans. Step three, stick to the thick stuff. If they can't see me they can't shoot me. Step four, try different things - starting with garbage. That's where the rats and mice are anyway. If I feel like the hunters are really after me, time to move on to some other place. When times are hard i can always draw a domestic dog away from the house, then cha ching....my buddies are all over it. easy meal. |
