Hey now now. I found that kitty in the middle of a wheat field. It was hungry so I brought it home. There were 4 coyotes in that field so it would've been coyote bait. Did my good deed for the summer.

Illegal in OK to do that. And not very challenging. Lazy hunters hurt the sport.

Yep - anything makes a good hunting rifle if you can use it effectively.

Here's mine.

I've mostly used my AR's for punching paper, carbine matches, but very little hunting. I decided I need to get more out of them.

My first coyote will be taken with this (minus the suppressor, not allowed in GA for hunting)::

BCM 16" SS410 Medcon barrel
Vortex 2-7x32 Viper
Geissele SSA trigger

This thing is a TACK driver with 77gr SMKs....I'm sure some good hunting rounds will work just as well.

Just a plain "ole" BM-ORC with a Nikon 3x9.  Great jeep gun and light enough I can carry all day without it weighing me down.  So far this year it has dropped two "yotes", one in OK and the other just North of Phoenix.

I keep it loaded with 55 grain V-Max's,the 1x9 twist it seems to favor this bullet the best.

That's a helluva rig. Can you use suppressors to hunt in UT? It's a no-go here in AZ.

That's what I love about hunting in CO - no mag limit for p-dogs or predators.

 cry

It would work best if you  make the cat scream.  Like an all natural call.  City coyotes would come running.
