So, I was in my backyard working on a chicken coop for my daughter and I hear a fawn in distress in the woods behind me.  About 5 minutes later, I see my lab carrying something white to the front yard.  I was about 200 yards away and at first thought it was my neighbor's dog, which was cause for great concern because my dogs are very friendly with the neighbor's dogs. Upon closer examination I found this.  How uncommon is this?  Any information would be appreciated.

It's a Piebald deer, I have seen a few but have always let them walk.

Well, He can give my dag the ticket. Honestly, I have never seen a game cop anywhere near my farm in all my life.

Mount it, or at least tan the hide. It is quite unique. Piebald-not common, but not a rarity, just very interesting.

Usually an indicator of inbreeding, and high deer density.

Skin it and sell the hide on a taxidermy forum they will pay top dollar.

At least freeze it and sell it whole if you dont want to bother skinning it

Want to know how to piss off the fish cops?  Start selling wildlife parts.  They just love that.

Woulda been a cool deer to take once it got big. Piebald's are not common in my area at all.

Hope you cut that guy up for dog treats though.
