nicely done.  The only buck I saw like that in Indiana when I lived there was hit by a mini van a few miles from where I lived.

We need to swap hunts.  Wanna hunt some hogs?

I've had 5 good shooter bucks on camera all fall.  Two have been taken so far that I know of.  Had I been in my stand this morning instead of offshore, I'd have taken one of them.

Big Daddy is still walking as far as I know.

Those are great looking deer. Ive only taken 2 does so far but I'm up at 4:30am to head out to McCormick's Creek state park for their late deer reduction hunt. I'll post pics if I get anything decent.

Spectacular bucks.  Hell, I've been to SK 3 times and never even got to see a book buck.  I've been doing QDM for 6 years now and it's really starting to help the age structure.  If I could just get the neighbors no board it sure would be better.

Congrats!

Dang Oh, those are some nice bucks.  Is that your land, or do you go through a guide?   If your land, you are doing a heck of a job with herd management.

I'm the OPs father-in-law.  Together we own a little over 400 acres of river bottom ground with about 120 acres of corn and soybeans, 80 acres of CRP and the rest in hay and woods.  He does a great job of herd management.  He puts corn and mineral in front of the trail cameras every week starting in late summer and we only harvest the best bucks.  Some years we don't shoot anything.  He has been watching both these for about three years and we let them both walk last year.

Another friend shot a very nice buck from the same stand the day after I got mine.

Awesome work!  those are almost high fence quality. Goes to show what devotion and patience can lead to.  Now if we could just get the neighbors to stop shooting 4pts and button bucks we might start pulling some bigger deer.

Those big Indiana bucks are the ones I grew up chasing.  When I moved away as a young adult, I was astonished that not everywhere I went had these bruisers running around.  Good on you OP, congrats for putting in the effort and I hope you enjoy your reward.
