Her first deer, a doe, during a two-day pre-rut antlerless season.  100 yd shot thru the shoulders, which put a good hole in the heart.  Went ~15-20ft and died.

This was her first time deer hunting, and she got it about 20 mins into the morning hunt on Day 1 (mirrors my first time deer hunting, too).  I'm so proud!

And she didn't puke during the field dress.

Congrats to your wife and you. A bunch of these folks on this site are fixing to tell you that we have rules here so go ahead and post the pic of your wife before they get ugly.

The whole thing about photos every time "wife is mentioned gets a bit ridiculous and there are lots of good reasons not to including privacy and so forth.

To start a post such as this and not show the deer is just dumb

Congrats to both of you!   I was on the stand with my wife when killed her first deer, also a doe.   Just before dark six walked over a hill towards us from over a hundred yards away and when they were about 60 yds. I told her to take the biggest.   She shot it perfectly and it didn't run far.   I admit it was a bit cool that evening.  But although I have taken well over a hundred deer in my life I was shaking so hard I could hardly climb down!   I haven't felt like that since I was a kid with a nice buck!  [:D
