I just put 2 out this weekend, will be soaking for 2 weeks. It's like waiting for Christmas...I want to go sneak a peak, but know better!

I just finally got mine out on my main piece of land this past weekend. I mainly hunt river bottoms and it has been flooded all summer.

I have two stands on my lease. I put two cameras on each about 4 weeks ago. One site is showing lots of does and a few bucks, the other, not a single animal. Placed feeders yesterday, will see what that does to their movement.

This time of year I put mine out in heavily used field food sources. It gives me inventory as all deer are grouped together and all the Bachelor group of bucks use the same trail and food source
Once the velvet comes off the antlers I start putting a couple of the cams at my backwoods hunting spots to narrow in on where they have decided to travel in pre rut. I stay out of the woods and on the fields till about late september. Speaking of that I have 6 cams out and haven't checked since Mid June...I bet they are full. Time to see what fat bean eating does I need to insert an arrow though to fill up my freezer be for I get serious about hunting some horns. Unfortunately we have a rule on our farm that we must harvest 2 does before a buck to keep the poulation in check and our crop profits in the black. |

Got a couple out at our spot in some new promising places. Excited to go check them finally this week after I get off my nights!! Had some good pics before the season last year but work and all prevented us from getting out there very often so barely a setback I plan on being there every chance I get and hopefully got some nice pics for something to aim for

I might have a bear problem this year, I'll be out with the bow trying to kill one soon. I believe there are six different bears on my property. But I also have a nice young buck running around.

I put mine out last weekend and will pull the card on Labor Day weekend. Last year I had 10+ buck, too many doe to count about 6 bear, bunch of turkeys. Fox, raccoon, porcupine, and still not coyotes. My neighbor had a pic of a bobcat which is rare in PA. Can't wait to check mine.

I've had 3 cameras out most of the summer. They are near my clover plots so I'm back there anyway seeding/weeding. Lots of 4,5,6 point bucks this year, couple 8's. No spikes, and not as many fawns as I'd like to see. I need to get better at coyote trapping. I'm not sure whether to take those small bucks or all does or what. We usually go through 3 deer a year venison wise so I need to get something in the freezer.
