Shot opening day 2012. Four minutes after sunrise. 65 yard shot, double lung. 193 pounds dressed. Took three men, three hours to get to the truck. Me , Cuzin Scott and Keith. What a morning. No one wanted to help, they were hunting. It's now mounted in my office. The unofficial score is 149 5/8" points. Most likely the biggest buck I'll ever shoot.
Shot with a Ithaca model 87 with a Winchester sabot slug and a 2.5 power scope, dropped like a pile of bricks.
About time I post this!!

I hope you bought a Lotto ticket too.  Not because of a lucky shot, but because you found such a nice trophy buck on State land!
