Deer season is over in TN.

I only shot 5 this year, nothing worth posting pics over but good freezer fillers.

I guess now I can answer the overtime calls from work on my off days.

EDIT: I could go out and shoot those pesky squirrels that always annoy me while deer hunting. Bwhahaha.

I'm here in Tennessee too.... No deer . The rut came early despite all efforts and many hours ... Nothing. Next year, black powder and maybe a crossbow for earlier hunting.

Regular gun season ends on the 18th and primitive weapons ends on the 25th and bow ends on the 31st .

Mine ended October 31! Wyoming has millions of deer and 1 month archery and 1 month rifle seasons in most areas. Kinda sucks.

TN, Montgomery County....strange season, got 4, wife got her first. But the deer weren't moving the same as the last 2 years.

Two more weeks and I can sleep late or at least till 0600. Stay warm in my bed, eat breakfast off a plate, stay awake past 2100. I got 4 so far and two to go. Month and a half and it is Spring turkey hurrah.

Same here.

I would love to be able to hunt that long and shoot that many for the freezer. The 9 day deer season here has been over since the end of October. We also only get 1 buck permit. If you are lucky enough to know somebody with land you might draw 1 management doe tag. I guess the trade off is we have Pronghorn, elk and millions of acres to freely roam on.

Our season ends this coming Friday. I've killed one doe. My second season hunting and still no bucks :( But a friend of mine let me know where some honey holes are on a KY management area so next year I'm taking the bow to KY.

I have never been skunked before. This year I got skunked. It sucks not having a deer in the freezer.

I am lucky to know a farmer that gets wildlife management tags for crop damage and come February I will get a few that way.

Shotgun season on Long Island closed today.

Bow season is three months, October, November and December.

Gun the entire month of January.

Most of the record racks in NYS come from Long Island.

NC season ended 1st of the year ,Stuck 5 in the freezer this year. 3 for me and 2 from the wife unit. I shoulda had more but I got on the usual horn hunting train around Halloween untli Turkey day. My season starts in March when I go out and rehang my cameras, start working on stands and clearing new paths. Try and shoot a few yotes and stray dogs. Then comes April and the ole struttin Timber chicken wants to play grab ass.

so I get a 3 month winter break and a 3 month summer break. 6 months of woods time...never really analyzed it.

Killed 5 here in E Tn .8pt spike and 3 doe,4 were with my savage muzzle loader and 1 with my AR ,resting now lol
