Here is my 2014 NE deer. Nothing special for sure but just wasn't seeing any big ones this year. Wanted to wash off the blood but it was cold enough he would have just turned into a block of ice.

Nice. That would be a even nicer buck if you shot it in Wisconsin. Lol
You guys have some great bucks down that way.

Nice looking deer! Details on rifle, terrain, general part of the state, etc?
My best friend moved to NE last January, and he's been threatening to go deer hunting ever since.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Honestly though the picture makes him look bigger than he is. He is a nice one but definitely not a real big one.

Rifle is a Savage Long Range Hunter in 6.5X284. Was hunting river bottom ground in the south central part of the state.

Great deer.

Saw tons of really nice bucks pheasant hunting last year in NE.  That was with everyone telling me that numbers were way down from CWD.

Not only is he a good sized buck, he has a cool brow tine on his right side.

How long is that kicker off of the G2 ?

Nice Buck with personality to boot.

What did you kill him with ?

Nice buck. I was hunting with a buddy on his in-laws farm out near big springs few years back. He got a nice mulie. There was a lot of cross breeding between whites and mules.
