I finally got my blind ready for the season.  It is a T-Box 4 x 8 guide blind that I added a solar system to during the off season with a 1600 watt power inverter for coffee and whatever sounds good.  T-Box makes a pretty solid blind with an insulation R value of 7 and I put carpet on the floor and walls to keep the noise down.  Both of my boys are young so my final add on was a urinal so that they wont have to climb in/out of the blind while we are there.  My dad would crap if he saw me hunting out of something like this but times change.

What is everyone else hunting out of this year?

That's more of a house than a blind. First time I've ever seen a solar panel on a deer stand.

I admit that the solar was a little over the top but I am planning a larger solar project next year and I wanted to try something on a smaller scale first.  Complete off grid solar systems are getting pretty cheap (sub $200) for small projects like this one.  With a good deep cycle battery, all of the wire and connectors I have $385 in this one.  The comfort level jumps considerably with electricity.

Looks Nice.  Not my cup of tea at all, I would feel like I was sitting in a house looking out a window v hunting.

Wow, that's like a mini cabin on stilts.  Very nice!

You ever thought about putting your solar panel on top of your cabin?   It would  be out of the way then.

I put a 100wate panel on the roof of mine to keep the 12volt battery charged that runs my refrigerator.

My problem is that the blind's outer shell is solid fiberglass piece like a boat hull.  Punching holes in the roof to secure the panel would cause more problems than it would be worth.  I ended up welding a panel bracket to the tower.  I haven't had any problems with the panel getting the proper amount of solar input even with a 1600 watt inverter running appliances inside.  I would like to put a fridge in my blind but I don't have the room when all three of us are inside.

I've always been fine with coffee in a Thermos and a little propane heater. Although a fridge would be convenient for beer

Your blind is far more civilized and accommodating than what I sleep in after hunting lol.

Nice setup.

Edit: No vertical windows for bow though.

This is mine, and you will notice there are No vertical windows for a bow either.   I don’t Bow Hunt.   It is also large enough if I feel like taking a nap I can do so.   The fridge is to keep food and drinks in, the beer stays at home.

I really like that mesh screening you placed on it.
Where did you get it and what is the name of it?

It’s a camouflage netting.   This is who makes it.    Camo Systems, Military Series MS028 Woodland Camo  19’8”x 9’10”.   I got it from Amazon.con

This ant mine, you couldn’t get me in it.   It sits about 30 feet off the ground.   Good lighting rod though.
