I have the Primos Truth Cam 46.  I got it from Wal Mart for $105 I believe online and shipped.

I like it so far, only had it a few months.  It is my first so I do not have any words of wisdom.

I can however provide you what I used for research.  Hopefully some others will chime in.

i like the primos truth cams, I have the truth cam 35, there a few models and sizes. The one that takes the aa batteries is my favorite due to size. Natches shooters supply sometime has reconditioned models as low as $50, new they can be had from wal mart, gander, etc

I'm fine with the Moultrie A5.  $65.  Does what it's supposed to do - picture, date, time, moon - and I don't need super HD.  The batteries last for months.  I probably average about 100 photos a week off the cameras and all I do is swap memory cards, it's probably been the same set of batteries for almost 6 months with no "battery low" indicator yet.

I have a primos truth cam 35. Its suits my needs and actually takes pretty good night shots if the deer isn't at a full sprint

moultrie for sure. primos will die after a few months-although if you register it they will replace it...with another crappy camera

Get a browning btc-6 dark ops for $130. Has great pics and does a good plot watcher mode.

I did a lot of research and when I factored in customer service I kept coming back to Covert brand cameras. I now have three of them, two are refurbs and all three have been perfect and take great pics.

For sub 100 I love my Primos Truth Cam 35.

I recently ordered a Browning Strike Force from Amazon. Wanted a cam that could take plot pics and IR mode.
Should be here next Fri.

I have one of these and have about the same comments. It's the only trail can I've ever had, so nothing to compare to, but it takes pics and works as stated above.
