THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Is it just a waiting game for them to "discover" the food source, or are my oats too tall because they have gone to seed? ![]() |

Best time to plant a food plot is in late summer/early fall, so it can start growing and be nice & tender about the time first hard frost hits. That's when they like to wear it out. In spring & summer there is usually plenty of natural forage for them to find & they don't have to go to a little plot for it. Unless there is a bad drought. Natural sources are good to identify, as that is where they will go if it is a good year for that particular food source.

No, it moves when I take it to concerts but is currently for sale. 1981 Miller Van, complete with Miller High Life upholstery, track lighting and a refrigerated rear compartment that chills 4 kegs on a C02 draft setup (2 taps inside, 2 taps outside). Miller Brewing Co made a few of these vans back in '81, Midas International did the conversions. Arfcom's own DanTSX stars in this vid: |
