THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Found some 200gr T/C saboted bullets for 50cal. I have also shot 250s and 300s. has anyone shot the 200s and if so how do they do as far as accuracy and performance on whitetail. I would think that you would have a little flatter trajectory with the faster lighter bullet.
any input or experience would be great

If the tc bullets are supplied by hornady, make sure they are flat-nose. Xtp hollow points will fail if velocity exceeds 1500fps. I know.

Have a buddy that shoots the 200's, kills deer every year. Personally I like the 250's better.

As far as i know t/c bullets are still made by hornady. I did not see a velocity rating on them. They are a polymer tip bullet. I believe it is an XTP with polymer tip. Ill have to check in to it. thanks everyone

For cost savings, you can buy the big bag of Harvester Crush Rib sabots, and buy the bullet of your choice in the reloading section. You'll save a lot of money over buying the pre-packaged stuff.
