Wow, there are some awesome deer posted here!

My humble submission...

Not a trophy by any means.  He was a 6 point or better earlier in the year, but it looks like the "big daddy" of the woods put him in his place.  Both main beams are broken off.  Can't wait to get some fresh meat to the table.

Last doe only season in our state. Coldest temps I have hunted in! The seven hunters in our group killed twenty one deer this year. I was able to slam this year with bow, slug shotgun, muzzleloader and pistol kills.

If it can hold a ring it counts right?  If that is the logic this one is an 8 point

Took my best buck ever this year. Killed on 9-27-08 on public land here in NC with my bow. Green scored 140 4/8". Not bad for a North Kackilaky deer. I can't wait to take a trip to the midwest.

Franklinton, Where did you get the deer, b/c I haven't see one like that in Granville or Franklin County maybe eastern Franklin or Nash. Or did you bag that one up in the hills in the western part of the state?

Better late than never I guess...Some real nice bucks in here.

This was the last day at hunt camp...were heading out... I am holding the last deer of the weeks hunt...we got 8 this year...we hunt in WV. They are "mountain deer, and do not get too big...at least so we thought...and placed a few cameras out last season, and to our suprise we got a few nice bucks on film...this fella is out of my stand..so I hope to get a poke at him this year. I am an avid bowhunter, and honestly never shot a deer with a gun. Certainly not against it...God knows I love to shoot...guess coming from Ohio, and never having the opportunity to use a rifle...kind of grew up with a Bow.

I miss the Ohio bucks I grew up shooting...took this fella in 93'

We had a good 2008 season. Three generations of us hunting together this year again.

My son James got his first deer on opening weekend.

Nice chest shot with the "family" .30-30, every man in our family for three generations now have killed a deer with the rifle( A savage model 170 pump-action)

I added a button buck in early November with my AR15

Dad shot a little 4-pointer and a hog later in the season. I don't have a pic of his deer, but I do have one of the hog.
