We had some lightning in the area yesterday and afternoon. It likely will be around again today, but hopefully not until later tonight. I'll probably stay on 20m the whole time.

Yea lightning in Houston..But will try 10m at gray line then move to 80m, HF sucks

Never done it before, but will give it a shot. Got a J-38 straight key at the hamfest last weekend.
Have been learning with a bencher paddle. Time to try it out |

What a flop of a night. I think I got a glass arm from calling CQ so much. Only 5 total contacts.
Maybe I'll take up shuffleboard.

Popcorn t-storms began firing up about 15 minutes before the start and are now dispersing. We've had that pattern for the past 3 days and it looks like it's going to continue into the weekend.

i have my skcc#, I'm just not confident in my copy skills. I'll keep practicing and give one of you guys an earful of hurt one evening.
