So far this summer my luck has been that every time I went camping it was one of the hottest weekends we have had. View Quote ["Predator" Quote] Anna: When I was little, we found a man. He looked like - like, butchered. The old woman in the village crossed themselves... and whispered crazy things, strange things. "El Diablo cazador de hombres." Only in the hottest years this happens. And this year, it grows hot. We begin finding our men. We found them sometimes without their skins... and sometimes much, much worse. "El cazador trofeo de los hombres" means the demon who makes trophies of men. [/"Predator" Quote] View Quote |

This place seems okay, but I haven't ordered from them yet. They are an authorized dealer:

Don't buy it from them. That's the place I bought mine from. PayPal transaction went thru immediately. They took over two weeks to get my "IN STOCK" order from Texas to Indianapolis. They are very unresponsive to emails. When they finally did respond, I was told my shipment was shipped inadvertently to BANGKOK (!) I can't make this up. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tt0pYOh5j-U/U4KfigNM2XI/AAAAAAAAJWs/_bRs6_A7eeM/s1600/worf_headshake.gif Amazon had the same panel with an additional adapter for $24 more and I could have had it in 2 days. Bigdaddy, where did you get the Powerfilm? This place was the cheapest I've found, but they have some complaints against them for non-delivery: http://www.flexsolarcells.com/index_files/Foldable_Series/pages/PowerFilm-Solar-Foldable-Solar-Panel-Module-F16-1800-Black.php Quoted:

Have you decided if you're bringing your new mobile hamshack, km? If you do, you'll have to re-do your pics of your light weight set up to include the weight of the trailer. |

Hope you come up with and post a sked of some sort - I want that soon to be highly coveted QSL!

It's pretty close to I.U. Bloomington where my son's starting his collegiate career on the 17th. Cell coverage was good there last month for orientation. I'm bringing my backpacking tent plus some light rain gear.

Ok, you guys, somebody better be set up with WINMOR so we can get some emails and shit and get freq's and spots on you next weekend!
Either that or set up some 20 and 40M phone, CW and digi sked's, etc. |

Tomorrow it starts. Do you want to do it the old way and hunt for us online or do you expect us to make it easy and tell you where and when we are on the air? Looks like it will be hot and maybe some thunderstorms popping up. With everything including tent, clothes, food, radio, antenna and lots of water my pack weighs 31.4 lbs
