This SSB contest is so frustrating for me because I keep hearing all these great DX stations but Hawaii doesn't count for points except for mainland stations.

Right, so what you have to do is set your radio to RX on the freq he's xmt on and set your xmt to the freq he's listening to. Depending on the radio, it can be easy as pie or a pain in the ass.

Nice!  I still can't here him there other than a little mumble in the noise every 5 minutes.  

ETA:  But I did just get them on 18.152 up!  Strong here.  I was in band but a lot of US guys were calling and working him 2 KHz above the top of the band!

ETA:  And 7.00517 up - Greyline baby!

Awesome! That is a good one for your first Africa contact! May be a long time before we see another Congo expedition that uses LoTW.

I think tomorrow is the last day for the dxpedition, glad to get them in the log.
