I'm having ok luck with C5X here, got a few bands.  Wow, colorful QSL card!

Anyone work EP6T yet?    They're slowly building on 10123 for me right now, I can just tell they're there but not copy yet..  Poor propagation during short time windows to my AO.  I'll keep trying and I'm even taking a bit of time off of work later this week to try them on the higher bands before the next weekend crowd in hopes of getting an ATNO...

And then they went QRT on 30M right after I posted that, just when I could start to copy them.

I haven't even bothered to try EP6T. I'm usually excited about things like this, but it's just been so crazy the last few times, I don't feel like fighting the pileup.

No luck here.  I've only heard C5X once, and I couldn't bust the pileup.  I haven't heard EP6T at all.

I've tried listening for EP6T on their listed freqs, but I'm not hearing anything.

ETA: The best news out of the EP6T DXpedition is that I hear they are going to be running classes there to get more Iraninans licensed. IIRC there are only 6 Iranian Hams left in Iran. Doubling or tripling that would be great.

I read somewhere that 300 people have signed up for classes.

They will probably have 299 drop out when they see the $15/QSL card postage rates they will have to send one out.

Big money to QSL direct

Now I know why guys were saying the Iranians charge $15 for a QSL card.

I don't believe I will make a contact with them, and neither will most on this side of the world.  There are several reasons, and here's some facts and some of my opinions.

This is not a great time of the year for propagation between here and there.  Openings are short and signals are weak.
They have a high noise level at their QTH.  Check out their web page for more details, they cannot even copy most of us calling because of the propagation and the high noise.
They did not bring excellent antennas, everything they brought was luggage on their plane.  Hex beams don't have enough gain, and most times SP and LP are about the same for me on 20 & 17 where they use them.  Basically a dipole...

I can usually hear them on 30 and 40 for an hour or so in the evening, and mostly just on my Hi-Z RX array.  Nothing tonight.  Copy on 10.135 right now.
I can hear them on 20 and 17 in the morning for an hour or less.  Weaker this morning than they have been.
I'd say I have an "average" station and only the big guns in the Americas are working this one.
