I worked Johnston Island on 20 meters and heard him on several other bands, always with an enormous pileup. I never bothered trying to get him on other bands because I heard him frequently and really wish I had now ;) In other words: Get them when the getting is good! |

As in AB1CDEQRP. Technically at 20 watts you are not a true QRP station (5 watts and under)but only an asshole would slight you for it. It is originally asking if you want me to reduce power. Later on, it was considered anything under 100 watts. Lately it has become 5w or less. I do call qrp, and tell them I have 20w. No one cares, and those calling cq will most times make a few qrp calls.
