I believe all of the tribal headhunters ate the old one, and that's why we have a new one.  Speaking of which, last night and tonight I see spots for US stations working New Caledonia and Australia on 6 meters!  That certain kind of TEP that only happens at certain times of the year.  I listened last night but only heard a couple US guys calling, and part of an Australian call, probably from a US station sending it.  The guys working this have massive antennas and power compared to my junk.

An Indian (dot) once told me he was from New Delhi.

I asked him what happened to Old Delhi. He told me it's still there.

Geography lesson. New Delhi is next to Delhi so I guess there IS an old Delhi.

Thanks raysheen.  Always the same here, could barely hear anyone in Afg and then yesterday he was over a solid S7 and I was lucky enough to work him.  What's even more amazing, it was just confirmed in LOTW!!!

Just worked 4W/G3ZEM on 30M, and then he moved to 10M and I worked him on 28025.3.  He's still there if someone else wants to try.

ETA:  4W already confirmed on ClubLog and LOTW!

I still remember what it was like when there was no Internet, and no QRZ.com.  No real worldwide spotting, and no confirmation until a card came weeks, months, or years later.  No instant call lookup, call books were bought once a year if you could afford it, and they were like phone books...

Great job!

T30D 24944.9 up 5 right now.  My noise is S5 there tonight and it was really tough with the dipole because he was the same strength as the noise.

YJ0X 21295 up 5 right now.  My noise S3 and his signal about the same, and this is with my TH3.

I found him there because of your post but he vanished shortly after before I could work him.

He's now at 14298 and much stronger than I was hearing on 15M this morning.

Nevermind - I thought you were asking about mine...  My new beam is still sitting on the grass until next week sometime, and I don't think I worked anyone with it on the temporary pole.  Today I removed the D3W WARC dipole from the roof tower and put it on that pipe 10' high in the back yard, making room for the Mosley.  Noticeably worse performance but I worked TX7G with it on 18072 a bit ago!  I think they're still there.

I dunno. Need to look through my paper logs. It's too easy now. They usually answer on first or second try.

Agreed. I had several Argentine stations booming in here earlier, but I have Argentina so I didn't add to the pile up. The islands just north of Venezuela were pretty active too, but they were bouncing past me.
