Have you considered a show about how to read the solar numbers?

I'm still struggling to figure out what everything means.

Cool.  I use BeyondPod on my Android phone.  Works flawlessly.  I have it set to automatically download new episodes during the night of the two podcasts I follow.  (Fo Time and Radiolab, you're in good company dude!)

Congrats SCW!

I have finished all of your content and have moved onto "other" streams of the same subject. I will say that your past history in radio is very evident in the production value.
Now... get the mesh network guy out of TX on for an interview.

I met two of them at a local club meeting in February. They are doing some really cool stuff. Hopefully the FCC doesn't lock down router software.

That said, if you are going to interview them, I would suggest a decent amount of research first. They are exceptionally passionate about what they do, but their presentation isn't the easiest to digest. I think that because they spend so much time working on it as a group, that their conversations about the topic are targeted to an audience that is already well versed in the subject. I could follow along, but I know I didn't get the entire story.

But, anyone using two wifi routers across 36 miles of open ocean are up to some cool stuff.

Episode 35 might be the best ep yet, and I'm definitely not just saying that because I got a shout-out in the intro!

Cheers Cale, great idea for a topic (logging in particular - we get a lot of "WTF logging software" threads around here don't we?)

SCW,
What are your thoughts on doing a segment on QSL'ing? From creating and printing cards to how to send QSL cards to DX stations/bureaus/QSL managers etc.
Thanks for doing the show, I've really enjoyed listening.

I came across this podcast about labor day from one of your posts in the survival discussion or survival gear forums.  I was listening (off and on) to the "other ham podcast".  This will put me over the edge on getting a license.  The Army taught me to be a RATT Rig operator some 30 years ago (minus the CW).  I looked into testing in the past (insert excuses about life happening here...) but I finally have the time and some extra $$ to help me out.

I listen to A LOT of podcasts.  This has jumped right into the top 5.

I get excited when I know someone is listening, moar excited when I know the show has prompted them to action...but to make a Top 5......That is Awesome!

Thank You for Listening! SCW

The Noisblanker/Kerchunker/Hijinks episode is one of my favorites. I seriously had some LOL moments.

Yep, listening to that episode right now.  Hillarious!   I'm really glad there are like minded people out there in the hobby.  Sarcasm and good natured ribbing are even funnier when it's over a radio, for some reason.

Ooh, timely.  I've been struggling with this for a month or so.  Individual letters is ok, short combos is fine.  Go off and listen to even slow QSOs and I just start hearing random dits and dahs.

Off to listen to the podcast!

I just spent 3 hours listening to the pod cast. I found it by chance while looking for ham podcasts. When I saw FO Time as a listing, I just had to give it a shot.
Glad to see I was right!

I drive alot for work. I listened to another 3 or so hours today. At this rate, I'll have worked my way through all the episodes by the middle of next month.
I'm just starting my ham journey, so I have a lot to study in the next few weeks. Still need to find a testing location and see if I can test for both tech and general at the same time.

Currently listening to Ep 52 and just heard my local club (Anchorage Amateur Radio Club) called out during the interview with Ron from Bridgecom

Looks like I need to get in there and see what they're up to with the 220MHz rigs coming our way.

PLEASE do a show on antennas.
I'll be moving into a new house soon that has an HOA, so I'm looking into attic mounted fan dipoles, but I have some ideas on an adjustable, remotely tuneable dipole that will work all HF bands.
