Thanks for the super net control job, ScooterInVegas. Great net tonight! Nice talking to everyone and getting to hear voices to connect with avatars and text!
Cool net tonight! Wouldn't it be fun to do a similar net using CW instead of microphones?
Damn it! I got pulled into work and missed it... Is this going to be a every Friday deal going forward?
Good net. Actually talking to some of you might make me speak up in the forum more often.

The Net was fun last night. We had 6 rounds lasting almost 2 hours. I'm looking forward to talking with you guys next week. |

Folks encountering firewall problems, or otherwise unable to connect.....
Check your settings, and try using one of the public proxies. I have DSL with a static IP, but have a 4G hotspot that I'm testing. One of the things I noticed is with the 4G hotspot, I can't use echolink. If I change the settings to use one of the public proxies, I can connect with no problem. If you are having issues, I would recommend giving this option a try. |
just got echolink set up on my computer and iphone!!
had to use public proxies on both computer and phone |

One thought I had.... We are a firearms forum how about we find a way to incorporate this into net too? Or reloading, or where anyone saw any 22lr last......
Just a thought. |

Well, beside getting cold in the garage, the net went pretty good tonight. You guys worried me a little bit at the begining because it started a little slow, but it picked up and turned out pretty good. Lots of fun. I dig hearing all the good info. Look forward to next week. Next week I will have to make sure to turn the heat on in the garage. The last 10-15 min I was having problems speaking. :-)

fell asleep..... first night of my day-off swap
next week though! |

Finally got the router and modem to work with EchoMac. Tried to access the DCF-ARC station but it won't connect.

If anyone wants to connect to test their connection or audio levels, I'll be logged into DCF-ARC for the few hours. (till around 7:00 PST, 300 zulu) View Quote I was in for a couple of seconds before getting disconnected. Have to play with the network settings some more I guess. |

Sometimes if you shut it completely down and reopen it, it helps. Sometimes... Now that I see your screen name, I did see you pop in then out a few min's ago. |

Net this week will be BYOB. I cant afford to keep supplying you guys. Bump for net Friday night. If you dont want to check in, just come on over and listen to mayhem. |

My call sign showed up in the ULS today (well Wednesday, yesterday now). If the EchoLink DB will sync with the ULS before Friday I should be in, barring technical difficulties. I plan to have the software setup on my phone (already done) as well as my PC.
I'm still struggling to stay connected. Don't seem to have a problem with the test server but I'm getting kicked out of the ARF node after 30 seconds.

Can you stay logged in other conference's? You want to try "world" conference now? I'm logged in. |

Not sure if that is the issue or if it is still a router problem. I have 5198 and 5199 open for UDP and 5200 open for TCP. Should be all that's needed. |

I'm probably going to miss tonight's net. At the in-laws with bad cell service and I don't think I want to mess with their firewall.
