Friday we went to Brown County State Park for some riding. That was just a short 13.5 mile ride. Great day in the park and a great view from the top of the 80 ft fire tower.

On saturday I drove SAG for the first day of the ride. We used 2 meters and APRS for communications. Had a very busy day repairing bikes. hauling broken bikes and riders. Started working about 8am and finished about 7pm.

Sunday I rode the 50 mile course.
Sunday course was slightly shorter than Saturday but had steeper hills. I had 2 meter radio and APRS on the bike. Ended up stopping to assist 6 broken down bikes. A few pictures of Mt Tabor. One of the steepest hills on the course. ![]() ![]() I know I'm still alive... I can feel the pain in my muscles and joints. Only one more year till we do this insanity again. |

It takes a lot of organization and support to run a ride with 6000 riders.

My bike doesn't have a low enough gear for those hills. And it has a very low gear.
