OK, both of you guys... watch for your license to be listed at:
http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/ApplicationSearch/searchAppl.jsp
and in the little search drop down choose "By Applicant Name".
Also,

As soon as you are listed, and since you have the CSCE in hand, you are good to go...
BUT, I suggest you listen a while, try to pick up the operating procedure. If there is anything you don't understand, ask another ham you know, "What does it mean when they say....?"
And right after I was licensed a contester was calling for my state, so I answered. After a few exchanges he said, "Is this your first QSO?"
I replied, "Oh, heck no! This is my SIXTH!"
And he stopped the rapidfire contesting lingo, and patiently explained to this grasshopper what it was all about, what the terms meant, etc.
The pileup that was waiting for him stood by quietly, listening while he showed me the ropes. He welcomed me to ham radio and thanked me for the QSO. In the amount of time he spent with me he could have made 15 or 20 contacts for his log, but he took the time out to do this for me. And I will always be grateful, and make sure I treat other new hams the same way.
When I grow up to be a real him, I want to be just like Bill K4EOA!
