Thanks for the QSO!  Glad my peashooter was able to be heard all the way to SC though I suspect your beam did most of the heavy lifting.

I was talking to a station in Trinidad before the QSO with you. The antenna was pointing South East. Glad we could talk although the band was closing fast. 73!

Let me figure out how to do jt65. I don't usually do digital on this setup.

ETA:
Downloading jt65-hf right now.

ETA2:2042 eastern, doing the FET calculations for my hardware.

Awesome!

Be sure your computer clock is synced to WWV. Doing it manually to within a few seconds will get you up and running. Long term, something like Dimension 4 is the ticket.

My first couple JT65 sessions were very puzzling; I could hear the tones but it simply would not decode. Then I got my clock tuned up.

Lighting off WSJT-X right now. 14076 USB

Also, be aware it will run your TX at 100% duty cycle. My IC7000 gets really warm so I dial the power back a bit

I am sitting on 1101 since that's where the QSO was.

Woo Hoo, Puerto Mont, Chile spotted me on 30m. To me, that's sort of a 1/2 QSO!

There's a *KSP call from FN21, that's the only one I have from that grid
