Which software do you use? I downloaded WSJT-X but I need to watch more tutorials on it, I have no idea on what is happening.

WSJT-X.  It can be confusing at first.

The most common error I see, is not setting the computer clock. It needs to be within about a second of WWV. If internet time sync is turned on that should do the trick, otherwise synchronise to WWV on 5, 7.5 10, or 15 MHz

I don't use PSK, JT69, LGBT or KGB modes but my microphone still works. C'mon down to 40 meters and say hello. I'll try to "park" at around 7.130 and call CQ. My suffix is **PAL.

That's great! I tried to pick a gen msg off page two, and put in ARFCOM 73, but it still sent the standard 73 off the first page. Oh well, still learning myself.

Glad you're up and running!

playing with WSJT-X 1.7 version, which is now in stable wide release.  I am on 20 meters and I seems to be a big upgrade in decoding.

edit: it appears 1.7 WSJT-X supports multiple signal decode.  I got my first double reply, which I have never seen before on JT65-HF nor WSJT-X 1.6

After reading your post I updated my software as well. Very clean install, retained all my settings, and continues to integrate seamlessly with JT Alert...also retained all the 'B4' database. Painless install.

And then early this morning I made my first even QSO with Scotland....was only a -23dB signal, but hey....in my entire ham radio experience I hadn't gotten Scotland yet...and now I have them in the log.

Australia was coming in loud and clear this morning as well...but they couldn't hear me

Will try again tonight when the family goes to sleep.

I got total crap band conditions right now, I need to figure out an 80 meter antenna solution, even if its a hamstick dipole set for JT65/9 freq.
