cracked eye, able to fix it?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - cracked eye, able to fix it?

Grabbed a rod and noticed the 2nd eye from the reel cracked. I had someone tell me you can replace the tip but not the lower eyes. Anyone know if a bait shop can replace it or if I'm SOL?

very common just take it to a rod repair shop and they will take it off and put a new eye on and recoat it.
