as I currently have a hds 8 installed now.  I hope I am impressed with the di & si as it should make finding schools of striper much easier.

Do any of yal run one of these fish finders, or have been on a boat with one what was your first impressions.

I can see my Hds 8 coming up in the EE shortly if any body has a need for a good hds finder

I currently run a HB 898c Si  (freshwater)  and like it fairly well. The Si is very helpful in finding off shore structure, really don't use the Di as much as the switchfire sonar.

My next boat will have a lowrance setup with thru hull transducer.
