Here's some of my crap. Bass fishing isn't a hobby, it's a mental illness.

OP that's a nice collection of bass gear! I'm a saltwater surf fisherman who targets sharks and redfish.

Saltwater surf fisherman throw very heavy baits REALLY far. Doing so with your finger on the line will burn. They use the surgical tubing to protect their thumb.

I have looked at these pictures several times and just drooled.

All of my baitcasters are Shimano as well. Curados, Calcuttas, and Chronarchs.

Hard to beat good equipment.

You just cant beat Curado's for the money, fresh or saltwater and they are always dependable. I really like those tackle boxes though, where did you get them? Never seen those before.

Piece of foam-core poster board for keeping Texas Rigs untangled

My brother put together this rod stand to keep our gear organized (probably gonna add some more PVC so that we can store all of our rods on here)

Women are a pain in the ass when it comes to fishing gear. After my stuff was destroyed in a house fire a few years ago, I am now back in the fishing game. I bought all Shimano reels and am currently outfitting each with a suitable rod. Buying rods is like buying golf clubs...each one has their own purpose. I bought a carrot stix rod that the jury is still out on, but I am loving the G Loomis rods I have bought so far. Every rod I have bought so far, I am hearing the same bullshit..."why do you need so many? You can only fish with one at a time." I think the easiest way to resolve the problem is to fit her with skates, and send her on down the road. I never hear a word about guns that I buy, but this fishing rod issue is fast getting old. Do I have the wrong woman?
