They aren't dealing with a scenario of a Balkanized breakup of the United States (that would give Alex Jones a chubby, but wait till he finds this). We make these scenarios up all the time to simulate foreign conflicts in order to keep the concept of a contemporary battlefield there without getting into classified subjects. What CPT Baxter is giving is called a "road to war" brief in order to give the audience a feel for the general environment and the "us vs. them". Frankly they might as well be talking about Germany or Vietnam. |

I could not open the link. Are you sure this is not part of the standard Robin Sage exercise, which is a guerrilla war scenario set in the fictional country of Pineland, not the USA.
