I am surprised you guys think so highly of a series that was basically about a bunch of mostly white guy neonazi types that set off a bunch of nukes in the us.

Did this show pick up? I watched the first six or so episodes and was bored out of my mind.

So, I guess if they're white and republican they must be NeoNazies?

Netflix streaming has the whole thing. That's where I finally watched it. The thing that screwed Jericho for me was that the "hero" was such a complete screwup, and yet everybody seemed eager to follow him. That boy had to be rescued more often than Olive Oyl!

The premise that the good guys in the east v the bad guys in–– of all places–– Cheyenne, Wyoming gutshot my suspension of disbelief.

Honestly? If it gets redone, I probably won't watch it.

You should know a little about the show before you post negative crap about it. You are way off on your comments. Have you ever watched the show?

I liked the series. I'd probably watch it.

CBS rushed the second season painfully hard.

It was crap compared to the first.

you do understand why they did that right?

in case you did not know, the hiatus in the middle of the 1st season did not help along with cbs's lack of advertising. by the end of the 1st season, numbers were way too low for cbs to renew and they shit canned it. then the fan base started a campaign to that helped to get the show another season to finish it 3 weeks later. there were two reasons for the 7 episodes, to close out the show with an ending, and, there was this impending writers strike on the horizon and cbs planned to run the series during this if one occurred. they also provided the ultimatum to the fans that if the numbers did not come up, it would not be renewed.

junction studio was given 7 episodes and a limited amount of money. so there went the drama/love story crap, (which i did not care for anyway).

cbs at that time did not seem interested in utilizing social networking to help with this show. i know because i dealt with cbs's marketing dept during season 2 when there was a myspace page for the show. they weren't very interested in splitting up exclusive content between different sites such as facebook and myspace for example.

It was a "spur of the moment" decisions by the brass at CBS, they couldn't really make up their minds. In the past, show like this would be "green lighted" without much effort, but in today's tough, competitive environment, your head is on the chopping block if you mess up, ie "green lighted" a show that didn't make money. You will be surprised on how effort goes into making a decent TV series.

IF they decide to bring back the show, it won't have the exact look and feel of the original series. because there will probably be different writers and actors etc on the show. The original cast and crew are like contractors and will have gone on to something else. and will be very difficult to get them all together at the same time again.

Better plot line than the government running false flag operations in Mexico in order to enact tougher gun laws.....

WRONG.

i know for a fact that even the writers did the writing for the "graphic novel series", (comics), AND, i know pretty much first hand that most of the key actors would continue to work this show if brought back.
