Maybe some of you have seen my thread in GD, My B1750HST thread

I need tires, where is the best place to shop tires for tractors?

Rear can accept, 8-16 or 9.5-16,   is their a big benefit to get the 9.5, because they are about $70 more than the 8s

Congrats man, great little tractor. Look hard for "Take-offs" many guys have turf tires and want to switch to tractor tread and vise versa. My dad for instance has a complete set of tires just sitting around in SC. I see them on craigslist and ebay quite often.

Well I got my tires, I got  Carlisle Farm Specialist R-1 Tractor Tire - 9.5-16, $189 a piece free shipping, and got the same for the front different size of course, I know I have seen a couple of post on how crappy Carlisle are, but ill give them a try.

I got the rears mounted and installed, still have one of the fronts to mount, I can notice the difference from the turf tires that where on it when I bought it.

I also noticed I had a clanking noise when driving, after looking around found the front ujoint from the transmission to the front driveshaft was shot, and has been that way awhile, as it wore down the yoke as well, so $150 I got a new u joint and 2 yokes, should be in next week.

I also spend some more money, Engine oil and filter, fuel filter, and hydraulic oil and filter changed.

@DECOY51 you were right AGs where cheaper and are a lot better, thanks for all your advice and pictures

This.  Looked long and hard for one around here and everyone thought they were made of gold.  Wound up taking advantage of Deere's 0% financing and a new tractor.

Nice score!

Funny, i did the same thing. I searched high and low for a nice used one but like you said, used ones are priced rediculously, so i bought my bx2660 with 0% financing. I have less than $1,500 left. It will be paid off in several months.

Thanks, post some pics up of your new tractor.

I had been looking off and on, as I only have a 1800' driveway to take care of, and was doing that with my Jeep pulling a large piece of I beam behind it.  I would check CL now and then. It was one of those right place right time deals.

I cleaned up the post hole digger and put it in the shipping container I use for storage.

The tractor has already made my life easier, grading my driveway.

Right now I have the bucket off, the bucket has a crack along the bottom of the bucket from being used, about 12", I have welded that, and I am going to weld on the bottom of the bucket a 1/8" thick plate 6"wide 48" long.

Along with the tires, I went down to the local hydraulic place, and had 4 new hoses that go to the Valve system for the FEL remade, that was $120.

I have put about 5 hours on it so far.

Here are a couple of pictures of the bucket I'm repairing and the new u joint, I am still waiting on the new yokes, should have them in a couple of days, then I can have 4 wheel drive back in action

Good deal, I'm glad you found some reasonably priced AG tires. They should work out for you and bring you many years of  service.
