Confirmed with the breeder, we have our 2 berkshire piglets that will be ready for pickup the end of the month.
So far, we have NOTHING ready. Time to get busy 
Never done pigs before, I'm HIGHLY worried my wife will fall in love with them and not be able to put them in the freezer or at least eat the meat. |

Yeah, I would be that "noooo, you can't kill them!" female.
And if there is ONE animal I would NOT raise on a farm, it is pigs. I hate pigs. Still...baby pigs are cute. Just sayin.
I'm not helping, am I? 
Sorry. 
I figure there's a reason God told the Israelites to not eat pigs. 
I will shut up now.

Wife and daughter @ farmers market-
Ohhhh look daddy protus...piggies... Protus- yup... Pigs- oink..piss...snort... Mom/kid- oh their so cute... Protus- this one looks cute to (points to a shit and mud covered 300lb pig..rooting around in slop.) Youd have to feed it ...clean it...and stand here ...that's how they smell Mom/kid- Ohhhh look rabbits.... Protus-
