Nice! i don't understand how some people can let their place get so run down. It happens. Somebody gets sick, or money becomes an issue and every bit of energy goes into survival. I've seen it a lot around here. Used to carry mail and saw properties that were kept up like Disney suddenly just start falling apart if the owners couldn't put the hours in. |

Well I think it's almost time for a new mower. The old Cub Cadet is starting to have something break about every other time I mow the yard now. Had to replace the tie rod ends the last time and the left side manifold pipe going to the muffler broke as well.
Looking hard at a Hustler X-One. More mower than I need but as an engineer I absolutely hate how the residential mowers are built these days. Should be getting a demo model out here to try later this month. Anyone have any input? Not brand loyal at all. I want something that will last at least 10 years with proper care. >25 hp Hydraulic lift deck 54" deck, MAYBE a 60" Nice big canister style air filter Individual wheel motors not one common transmission Prefer EFI Cast iron spindle housings not Al Fabricated deck |
