As I posted a few weeks ago, I got a new tractor.  Man it was expensive, but DAMN this thing is handy.  I got it mostly to mow a field, but I use it for a lot of other stuff.  We had a storm blow through, and the tractor was a big help in getting a big limb cleaned up.  This is a small thing, but recently I changed my sister's oil and used it to carry the low profile ramps I made from the barn up to the driveway.  Of course I could have carried these by hand, but a tractor makes it a million times easier.  What did you do with your tractor(s) today?

Last use of the "house" tractor (a JD 1025R FILB) was with strap on forks on the bucket to unload a 235 lb, still-in-the-box, 7KW generator off the pickup, support it during the minor assembly process (wheels & feet) and then move it around back to the walk out basement door.

No pic of that, but here is the tractor

Didn't get to use mine today, but I've been running one at work for the past 2 to 3 weeks mowing roadside banks and guide rails.  Will post pictures tomorrow.  My tractors are still
in the barn waiting on good weather to make hay.

I grew up on a 48? i think... My grandfather had it running on butane.  Later we converted it back to gas.

I hate it that when dad got a new M Kubota, he let the thing rot.  He ended up giving it away

Shiny isn't a requirement.

Doesn't have to be a barn queen.

Sprayed for Cranberry fruit worm, Anthracnose/Phomopsis, and spotted wing Drosophila Sunday.

Of course it rained Monday, and today.
Last Mowing before Harvest begins, and last chance before mowing would knock fruit off Today.

The little shits are playing games with ripening this year. A good 20% turned last weekend, which is slightly early by GDD, and then they have stopped....they know my phone is getting blown up by customers, demanding to know when the things will be ready.

Tomorrow, more Mowing to finish up, and sprayer goes back on, then a late night spraying session to apply another fungicide, and cover what was rained off.
The stupid Cranberry fruitworm moths are still flying, and we just got our first couple of Spotted wing Drosophila in the traps..males, so I can't take chances.
God I miss Guithion...

We just upgraded the baler 2 years ago from a New Holland Super 67 which dropped everything on the ground.

When the weather is fit, I'll snap a few pictures of my Super C and my dad's 504.

Cool!  My grandfather used to have a 404 and a 504, but they sold after he died.  I have my dad's super C, super H, 400 and 140.  The 400 is the only thing running at the moment.

My dad was a Farmall nut, so I'm loving these old IHC tractors!  Below is a pic of his 400 that I still have.  I recently used it to pull a broken limb from a tree so I could cut it up, but it just wanted to dig holes with the back wheels.  My (smaller) Kubota pulled it right out, I think the 4WD was a big factor.

Towed the lowboy trailer around and picked up 210 small squares of grass hay (not bad for 5 or so acres) custom baled by neighbor. No pics during, just wanted to get done. About half the hay is stacked in the barn, other half is still on the trailer.

Pic of parked tractor. Looks like I need a new tube for that left front tire. It was full when we started. 1960 JD 4010. Inherited from wife's grandfather.
