This is just some I have pulled off of the 6 plants in the past few days. I have a few more in the house that are completely ripe, I need to do something with... They really haven't gotten any size though. I have some romas no bigger than cherries ripening now I have already ate 2 of my yellow brandywines on sandwiches alone. I have about 5-6 more of those ripening on the vine now, and that'll be about it. Only thing still producing in the garden now is cukes, tomatoes, and the corn is still growing. Squash have died of the year after a decent turn out, and my peppers really ain't done shit. |

I almost ignore blossom end rot in the first round of tomatoes any more. It seems like I get a few like that every year, then as things start cranking up, it just goes away.

My mators are doing great. I'll need a 5 ton dump truck to hual them all out of the garden if the all come rip at the same time. But I have big plans on a LOT of Sulsa. Thus the reason for all the hot pepper plants that are doing just as well.
The canning jars are all washed and just ready for a big sunday of work. |

Sauce and then can them. That's what I'd do. I ended up buying 25 lbs of tomatoes to can for sauce because I wanted fresh tasting sauce in the winter. Now my tomatoes are taking off.

Well, you don't have enough to can, so make some fresh salsa. |

Here's my tomato haul so far this year:
Fuck this heat. Hopefully I can keep a couple plants alive and get something to harvest come fall. |

Tomatoes are doing great this year, just got thru grinding 2 five gallon buckets full of Romas and mis shaped slicers thru the squeezo. The Wife is cooking them down to sauce, She says at least 14 quarts this batch. Last Week it was 9 quarts and 30 pounds of the nicest slicers sold to a local restaurant. Another 30 pounds of slicers will go out tomorrow , I got a standing order for 30 pounds a week at $1.60 a pound. Last year was good but this year , all I can say is wow.
