I just came across this:
So does anyone have any experience with this unit? Briggs & Stratton 2200 How does it compare to the Honda? PITA45

Honda is better but Briggs is just fine too. I have a Briggs powered generator (not inverter) and it's been just fine.
Most of the motors out there are decent. Briggs builds some cheap stuff but also builds some good stuff. For the price though, I'd go with a Champion inverter. |

If you do not want to spend the money for a Honda inverter, buy the Champion.
B&S is dead to me. |
