I love the 888s, I got 2 and they even have a little headset thing. For how cheap they are, yet clear and effective.....I'll be getting plenty of these, very nice for 17 bucks each.

chirp isnt down loading for any ideas. installer integrity failed bad media? whats that mean ?

Would these be useful for someone who is alone in the woods, out of cell service regularly?
Was thinking if one was injured, maybe he could use this to call for help, or give location info. |

The budget folks really liked that I was able to build a whole simplex system for less than the cost of "one of those ICAM or Vertrix radios." |
