Seems we have a lot of "good deals" posted all over this section in different threads. I am hoping we can get it all in one thread for quick/easy reading and access.
Use this thread to post any good deals you find on "Survival" type stuff.

Did you find a good deal on a item, post it here
Post what the item is, maybe your experience with the item and a LINK to the item.

quickclot, is basically just gauze impregnated with kaolin, we make our own:

1 pound, enough to impregnate a metric shit-ton of gauze, way more than you'll ever need, try to find a friend or two to go in on it, 10 bucks and change delivered, cheapest I have found
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kaolin-Clay-Powder-1Lb-2Lbs/270835487314?ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1&ih=017&category=29581&cmd=ViewItem

12-pack of 4" by 4 yards gauze rolls, cheapest I have found, 4.33 with free shipping
http://www.amazon.com/Dynarex-Stretch-Gauze-Bandage-Non-Sterile/dp/B000GCRWSU/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Wife is a medical professional, she also had me get these plain gauze pads or "sponges" 200-count @ 6.00 with free shipping and we hosed them down with the kaolin/water mixture too;
http://www.amazon.com/GAUZE-PAD-SPONGE-12PLY-STERILE/dp/B0006GDACS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

dried them in the food dehydrator, will package with the food sealer doomaflotchie, and for some measure of sterility, we'll be hitting them with the UV:

two-pack of mini 6" flourescent lights, they run on AA batteries so they are portable, but also can run off AC with the right converter, 10 bucks:
http://www.lowes.com/pd_53444-207-73026LA_0__?productId=3190085&Ntt=amertac&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNtt%3Damertac&facetInfo=

4watt 6" germicidal UV tubes, 9.98 for two plus 2.99 shipping, bulbs are rated at 10,000 hours, UV also works to sterilize water though for obvious reasons you wouldn't want to dunk these like you can a Steripen, but the pen puts out a fraction of the light, only lasts 50 hours, and cost 65-70 bucks
http://www.ebay.com/itm/350562519660?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

*EDIT* 4-25-2013* Found another vendor on fleabay for kaolin powder that sells smaller amounts, one pound is waaaaaaaaaay more than you need, this guy sells them in several amounts all the way down to 1 ounce for 2.59, all with free shipping.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/WHITE-KAOLIN-CLAY-FACE-MASK-BODY-POWDER-Qtys-1-2-4-8-or-16-oz-/251224459153?pt=US_Skin_Care&var=&hash=item3a7e250791

Check your local Dollar General store for seeds, they may be gone now, but a couple of weeks ago our local store blew out their remaining stock of vegetable seeds for a nickel a pack, 3 cents a pack for flowers, which is not a bad deal as that included mammoth sunflowers (great for seeds obviously) and marigolds (bug deterrent and excellent chicken food).

Shipley Donuts, sells the used 4 1/4 gallon square white buckets that their frosting comes in, with a lid w/seal, for a buck a piece, good for storing food etc.

I've been more of lurker for a long time but this may be helpful for some looking surplus uniforms. They only have the ACU's listed on their website but I bought some in DCU and BDU at the same price. I got to hand-pick at their retail store and some were brand new. One of the owners said they would eventually get around to listing the other patterns on their website.

USGI ACU jackets $9.95

USGI ACU trousers $9.95

$29.99 can't beat it

I have a pair that I can not find a defect on.  For 29.99 you cannot go wrong.  If I were employed right now I would be buying at least one more pair if not two.  I firmly believe that regardless of any shortcomings you will not find a boot of this quality for a $30 price point.  Are they ready for the battlefield? maybe not but at 30 bones you can stack them deep. as always YMMV

Do these have the usmc symbol on them? It's hard to tell from the pics. I'd like to get a pair but I did not serve and don't want to act like I did.

Return of the old deal from a few years ago:
Cold Steel Bushman 2nds  $14.99 or 3/$40

Price is actually 3/$37 after I logged in, which meant two packs would not meet $75 to get free shipping.

Reply to question below to avoid no-deals posts:
Several threads in the SF archives but no current reviews that I could find.  Check the knife forums.  If you want a knife, get the Mora.  If you want a knife you can stuff with survival bits without affecting the structure of the knife, or you want a knife you can turn into a spear, get the Cold Steel.  For everyday use as a knife there are many other options.

I also note that the 2009 deal on these was 3/$30, damn that flat inflation.

Thanks for the heads-up but showing on backorder now. Did you guys hear about the problem on coffee plants in south america? Heard this on NPR last night...apparently theres some kinda mold thats killing the plants because of climate change or some crap. Would be a good idea to stock up on beans for roasting and grinding later.
