Buy a small pouch from same mfr, and use rit dk green dye to test.. Dunk it until what you see is what you get.

I think the biggest issue would be if the fabric has some special IR characteristics. The other thing is that artificial fibers typically need heat to get the dye to really penetrate the fibers. So a "quick dip" in Rit Dye often won't do; simmering the fabric might be required, depending on your goal.
Instead of ordering a small pouch, try calling them up and asking for an envelope full of various scraps - you can stuff a LOT of different fabric samples into a $5 flat rate box. |

The idea of asking for some scraps is a good one; never thought of that. Dunking syn fabric into hot water/dye solution will work fine. I've just dunked for a short time to "tint" ACU to a pretty nice green-based digital pattern, and also simmered ACU long enough so that the digital pattern was lost, and the result was very dark green, almost black. |
