This year so far, we've seen foxes and bobcats prowling around the barn.

Only one squirrel.

Occasional tracks of bears, and the rocks they turn over looking for food, but few signs of them otherwise.

Way different this year from the past, have no idea why.

Just saw a tiny black bear like the one in my avatar.

Wasn't in the mountains and heard an alarm zone go off and looked and there he was, playing with a 1 gallon empty bottle by the container.

Didn't get a picture [game cams may have some] and he ran off after a moment.

Considering the lack of animals, it was the last thing I expected to see this year.

There is a small subdivision a mile and a half away where bears knock over garbage cans every year in the spring.  Ours has never been bothered (though we aren't in a subdivision).
Neighbors have seen bears in daylight this year and we have some coming around the property right now at night eating chokecherries and apples.
Dug a pond last year, lots of deer through in the summer, lots of sandhill cranes as well, some ducks but there isn't a lot of cover at the edge of the pond yet so no nests.
Bumped a covey of 10 or 12 sharptail grouse mowing the path earlier this week, they will probably be gone when the season starts in another four weeks.
Maple leaves are just starting to turn, wild apples are ripe enough to pick and can apple butter.
