$4,500 for the truck and $1,400 for the trailer.  I made the roof-rack myself for $500!

Not to brag, but this is the one my brother and I bought early last year.

$985 out the door from Camp Beauregard in Louisiana.

All it needed was a new in-tank fuel pump, and a repair to the rear channel iron.  Working on the inside of the box and hoping to have it ready this fall.

The M109 is a variant of the M35 or Deuce and a Half.  They are pretty much out of the entire DRMO system now.  A few may come in here and there, but you will have to monitor the government auctions sites to bid on one.  You can still get them from private sellers and some of the larger miltary truck dealers, but you won't get them for that price.

We got lucky, for sure.  The fact that it looked a bit rough scared people off, I am sure.

When we got to Camp Beauregard, we were prepared to tow it back home, and that is what we ended up doing.  But we ran into some other guys there who were getting their auction winnings ready to drive off. They diagnosed the problem for us.  We managed to snag the replacement pump off of a junked Deuce that one guy bought for scrap, but we ran out of time to replace it there.  The next day, after we got it home, it fired right up with the new pump.
