Has anyone heard anything about this survival race/event? Supposedly there is a TV show about it that i'm going to try and catch tonight. A buddy and I are seriously looking into doing one of these and we would like some info on whether it seems legit or not.

My drill sergeant had done three tours as combat arms, had a scar down the length of his face, and was no-shit bi-polar. That's how they are supposed to be.

There's one in September, i'm going to try to make it to that one, although the website doesn't tell you how much it costs to enter.

That's not too bad, pending watching the documentary on it and it doesn't look like a sham. I can ruck 30 miles on my own, i'm interested in what events they have to offer.

Hmm that looks cool. $500 for 2 people isn't bad at all. I don't see any round counts though on the packing list.

I only have .40 pistols

That looks like a hell of a good time. With enough of advanced notice, I'd definitely go to the moonlight one.

It was covered on the "Shooting Gallery" tv show January 19, 2012. It was very good.

Having done a few 24 hour adventure races, I don't think I'd want to add firearms into that mix.

I hope they've got some damned attentive safety guys because, by hour 18 I was getting pretty loopy. That's after 55 miles on a mountain bike (9hrs) and 28 miles flat water in a kayak (9hrs).

Does look fun, though.
