How is the barrel secured to the receiver? |

How is the barrel secured to the receiver? In that configuration the knurled nut you see at the front of the gun retains the barrel. |

Ashley Peacock here...we spoke this morning. I have to say that as a happily married Christian man, the sexy chick on the pamphlet you sent was a little off-putting. On the other hand, this new design is nothing short of an answer to prayer. |

With the regular barrel is the hand guard needed at all or is that just a cover part?

i emailed Que, one of the barrel mod guys at rimfirecentral about extending the threads at the muzzle and installing the barrel "band" that holds the front sight on the OEM barrel, (chopped down and threaded) he gave me a reasonable price for the work, and it should allow using Tech Sights on this. (gotta check on the height of the handguard to make sure it won't block the sight plane of the Tech's.)
but it would be nice if there was a factory version like that (hint hint) or a beadblasted stainless version. |

(there seemed to be some confusion on what was included in the prices on another forum, some seemed to think the stock, barrel and handguard was $450) i have one of the blems, and as far as i can tell, the only blem is a slight difference in the texture between the butt and main body of the stock. i'm just a happy customer, and considering getting the barrel kit. |

I have a Tech TSR200 rear sight that I tried and it easily clears our largest diameter (1.75") hand guard. A clamp on front sight in in the works for our barrel. |

I really like this! It is a vast improvement over the whole AR-7 take-down .22 idea.

ummm, when you say "largest diameter handguard" does that mean you have more than one diameter, or just the tube and the nut? |

Ordered the upgrade kit last night. Will post a review here when I get it. Already have the AGP folding stock and I love it. I got the 'blem' and it works just fine. Incredible deal, really.

question on the sling stud mounting points.
is it possible to mount sockets back to back on both the left and right, or will they only work on one side or the other? i've gotta shoot long guns left handed due too problems with my right eye, but it would be nice to have it fully ambi for anyone else.. i already have the stock and will be getting the barrel kit when the front sight base mentioned above is available. just curious about how many sling sockets i should get. |
